Comments about HTD Level THREE Powered Subwoofer:

I have level 3 bookshelf and center speakers in the front plus level s subwoofer. Level 2 rectangle in the wall speakers in the middle and 2 30 year old towers in the rear. Can't beleive how great it sounds. I will be getting 2 more speakers for the rear soon.

Service & Delivery comments:

All the speakers come in a cloth bag, then foam, then a heavy duty box, then a second box. Not one blemish on them.

Product is good, my last unit was a one piece unit don't like the seperate control box

Home Theater Direct Response: Thanks for the feedback. A vast majority of our customers find the separate sub-amp a great feature because you can install it with your other equipment and run only speaker cable to the sub, i.e. the sub does not need to be placed near an electrical outlet, you don't see the electric cable, and you don't have to buy a long shielded cable to connect it. Most higher-end manufacturers have moved to this design for powered subs.

This thing is a BEAST.

Magnificent... that is how I would describe this subwoofer. I am using it in a small home theater (~ 15 x 18) and it works perfectly. The range is stellar, with thumping low bass notes and clear sound. It even helps add clarity to the center channel. This speaker is much better than what I had (JBL) and works great with the HTD in-wall speakers. The included amp makes the package even sweeter. Next up - Level 3 floor speakers (I heard them at the HTD office and they are PHENOMENAL!)[...]

This product has surprised me. The quality craftsmanship and sound is fantastic. I used this sub along with HTD wall speakers and I am very please. Definitely worth the money!!
